Scoop’s SPS-8F2G is an unmanaged 8-port Fast Ethernet AI PoE switch equipped with 2 Gigabit Ethernet uplink ports for high-speed backbone connectivity. All 8 downlink ports are IEEE 802.3af/at compliant, automatically detecting and delivering power only to compatible devices. The switch features an overall PoE budget of 96W, supporting up to a maximum of 30W on any single port. To maximize network efficiency, the SPS-8F2G includes a physical toggle supporting 4 Intelligent Working Modes: Extend Mode: Increases PoE and data transmission distance on ports 1–8 up to 250 meters (negotiates down to 10Mbps; requires solid copper Cat6 cable). VLAN Mode: Activates port isolation on ports 1–8 to prevent broadcast storms and improve security. QoS Mode: Automatically prioritizes network bandwidth based on real-time traffic history and usage analytics. AI PoE Mode (Watchdog): Actively monitors connected devices and automatically power-cycles the port to reboot a PoE device if no data traffic is detected for a set time.
