Scoop’s SPS-8G2G is an unmanaged 8-port Gigabit Ethernet AI PoE switch featuring 2 dedicated Gigabit Ethernet uplink ports for seamless network integration. All 8 PoE ports are fully IEEE 802.3af/at compliant, allowing them to auto-detect and safely deliver power only to compatible devices. The switch offers a total PoE budget of 96W, with a maximum capacity of 36W per individual port. To maximize network efficiency, the SPS-8G2G includes a toggle switch supporting 4 Intelligent Working Modes: VLAN Mode (Port Isolation): Isolates ports 1–8 from one another to minimize broadcast storms and enhance local security. Extend Mode: Extends data and power transmission on ports 1–8 up to 250 meters (negotiates down to 10Mbps; requires solid copper Cat6 cable). AI PoE Mode (Watchdog): Automatically reboots a connected PoE device by power-cycling the port if no data traffic is detected for a set period. QoS Mode: Prioritizes network bandwidth dynamically based on real-time traffic history and analytics.
