The MikroTik OmniTik 5 PoE ac is a rugged, weatherproof outdoor wireless access point featuring 5x Gigabit Ethernet ports and high-speed 802.11ac support. Powered by a robust 720MHz CPU and 128MB of RAM, it utilizes a high-power 1,300mW 802.11a/n/ac dual-chain radio, ensuring full backward compatibility with older 802.11a/n CPEs. The device features two integrated 7.5dBi 5GHz omnidirectional antennas and ships complete with a power supply, PoE injector, and mounting kit. Supporting both passive and standard 802.3af/at PoE input and output (12V–57V), ports 2 through 5 can pass through the input voltage to power downstream devices—significantly reducing cable clutter. For instance, feeding the unit with a 48V input allows it to natively power 48V equipment like IP cameras.
