Powered by a quad-core ARM processor, MikroTik's RB-CCR2004P is a carrier-grade cloud core router that comes pre-loaded with RouterOS L6 and 4GB of onboard RAM. Its high-density interface layout includes 16 Gigabit Ethernet ports and two SFP+ uplink cages, backed by dual redundant power supplies. Internally, the 16 Ethernet ports are split into two groups of eight, with each segment managed by a dedicated Marvell Amethyst switch chip. To prevent bottlenecks, both switch chips and each individual SFP+ cage utilize their own independent 10Gbps full-duplex lines tied directly to the CPU.
